So don't open your games to the public until they fix this. Also if you have an authenticator, go the battle.net website and set it so that asks for it every time you start it up.

I am not using an authenticator again. I had one as an app on my Galaxy S but I got rid of that phone but now I cannot play Starcraft 2! I have to jump through hoops and tell Blizzard information I can't remember so I have a game I can't play.

Had the same issue - authenticator installed on my phone, had it deleted by accident. Mailed Blizzard support with a picture of my ID, and they removed it from my account. Now i bought one of their authenticators, and is much better - at least i can't delete it again Btw. i had my WOW account hacked a year ago, there was not much on it /gold and stuff/, so no big deal, just had to jump through hoops with their support once again, but luckily everything went just fine.

I finally beat the game on normal last night. Took me three tries on Diablo, but I finally took him down. Total time played 33 1/2 hours. Part of me wants to start a new character but another part wants to keep playing my Barbie through Nightmare.

One thing I do love and hate about it at the same time is any other characters have access to the stash and all of the funds. If the Barbie just kept all his money and bank, then it would be easier for me to start a new character.

I have the authenticator app on my phone. I'm thinking about removing it and ordering the Authenticator gadget thingy.

I'm still trying to figure out how Diablo 3 quals as a "historical strategy game" . . .

I guess there is not an RPG/Fantasy forum so the the threads were started here in this forum?

Diablo is literally a real-time strategy. I think it is where the term "click-fest" originated.

I'm suprised not many complain about the persistant internet connection. Forget that. By buying Diablo 3 you make it more likely that future games will have this awful aspect! I say boycott this type of game, but I guess some people want to have their "click-fest."

Like I have always said, vote with your wallet because that is the only message that will get across. Personally, I don't care about the persistant internet connection so I bought the game anyway. I absolutely respect those of you who didn't buy the game and then complain about it. You did exactly what you should have done. The ones I laugh at are the ones who buy the game and then complain about the persistant internet connection. I say make an informed decision. If it's a deal breaker, then don't buy it. If you can live with it or don't care, then buy it.

As far as me buying the game and screwing it up for others, I don't feel that way at all. It's my hard earned cash I am spending, not yours.

I am still enjoying D3 and plan to keep enjoying it.
