I used to live right under the flightpath of landing B-52s and KC-135s at Wurtsmith AFB in Michigan. (before the base closed in 1993) Brings back memories. Didn't realise they had KC-135s there until I saw this thread. Would have loved to see them again too, as my dad was a Stratotanker Navigator in the 70s and 80s. _________________________ I blame pilot error. I've seen their tankers in action from my deck, nice to see the base itself! Edit - Just realized it was Pierce and not Pease.. Wee different location I think.
