Running 4.11.1 and can't seem to get HUD icons enabled - has anyone else ever experienced this?

Yeah, that's the way I have the setting.

The problem is, I don't have the patience to research it right now so I tried the half-assed "ask a vague question on a forum" trick! I think I might just try a re-install and see if that does the trick - thanks.

There's a key command that is used to switch between different HUD settings. One of these settings is non visible HUD. You have to bind a key to this particular command in the Options menu.

The only one I can recall was "k" for the speed, altitude, and heading indicator. It works fine in 4.10.1.

Yeah - the "k" to cycle thru English/Metric/Etc for the speed bar works fine...it's the labels under the planes that don't show.

Going to try a re-install tonight & see if that fixes it.

The command you are looking for is 'Toggle Icon Types'. Make sure you haven't cycled it so that the plane icons are turned off.

Wow, thanks man - that was it. I'm a moron! Had I slowed down & used my brain for 2 seconds, it might have occurred to me to check for this command because I think I've accidentally hit it once before...but, as I mentioned, I'm a moron! winkngrin

Thanks again - saved me an overly hasty re-install.
