This is the only other title on iOS that favorably holds up with Battle Academy, IMO. It's a sci if setting, based on the books by William Dietz. Only caveat is that it's not yet Universal, but plays well on iPad. The developer has already submitted the retina update to Apple, with HD/Universal build in the next couple weeks. This has some of the best spotting and artillery play I've seen, and interesting line of sight mechanics.
