I have, somewhere, an original EAW disk, but no idea how to get it running on XP or Win7. I gather that it is a bit of a challenge to get the old girl running again, but I'd like to see if I can get it installed. Please give me a pointer as to how to do this or where to find some info on how to do it. Thx

My system:
WinXP or Win7 64
AMD Phenom II x4 3.2
8 GB Mem
GeForce 560 w1GB

Hello Akmatov.

You should be able to install [copy your disk to HD] EAW under XP or Win7. The problem might be your video card. There are various thing to try once you have the game is patched to 1.28e. So, get EAW installed, and come back, once you have the game patched, and run for the first time. wink

You may have video issues. You can see my thread below on "The Wrapper Tearing Issue"

I have thus far been unable to get my display to work even on the main menu screen, which makes me unable to access any other functions. I suspect the NVIDIA drivers. I'd be very interested if you manage to get things running on your system. My video card is much older, but I suspect we are using the same generation of drivers.
