Military Monday continues as usual at 8:00 eastern this week. We'll play a variety from the library, since no new campaign mission is ready for this week.

After a rough experience on Thursday, I'm also hoping to lead some victorious missions!

Well, experiencing those missions makes the missions we successfully complete all that much better. The routes/tactics were worth a shot. It was pretty fun sneaking in between those patrols.

Last Military Monday before O.N.E. is announced...whatever that is... eek

I think that is the question on everyone's mind right now. Apparently we can sign up for it tomorrow, though.

Good rounds. That first one, especially, went really well. That mission is a lot of fun, and well-balanced. My older, crazier missions continue to punish, though... and then there was that Osprey stunt pulled on us by the server.

Since attendance has been sky high lately, I am going to try to build a few new large-scale missions that aren't as overwhelmingly complex as Rainmaker and Road Rage, for example. Those missions were made when I was trying to do everything ArmA was capable of to learn the systems. At this point I have a better grasp of balance and gameplay efficiency as a mission maker, versus my older goal to make the biggest, most epic stuff possible :3

Some fun COIN play at the end, there, too. Those mortars really had our number!

Love that Osprey.

Lots of fun games. Happy to say I did not crash the aircraft this time flying CAS smile Kudos to Klar for doing a great job as the JTAC and guiding me in.

If that Rainmaker mission gets revisited, I'd really recommend taking out that very long insertion phase. It took us ten minutes to fly across the map and walk half a kilometer up hill, only to find the garrison team had been wiped out by air attacks anyway and have the plug pulled on the mission. I don't know about other players, but I only have an hour or two to play on Mondays now, so the long transit times are quite a drag. I think it'd be okay just to start the whole group at the base and go from there.

i think that was the first version, the 2nd version had the carrier closer and had blackhawks as well, seems the old one got uploaded by mistake during the server suffle!
