Has anyone noticed the reduction of visuals in game, mainly the cockpit, instruments and aircraft exteriors have been trimmed back
considerably, at hardly any fps gain on high end systems. This is verry dissapointing and perhaps the wrong way to improve the
frame rate issues that some with older and not up to par hardware might suffer.I don't like this sort of approach, I am a customer
that spends the extra money to be able to enjoy the maximum visuals the product offers. I didn't spend the extra money only to find out that the dev's are trimming back the quality of the software i have purchased, your game runs fine on my hardware without the latest
patch, if you want to increase fps for low-end users trimm back the medium and low settings, don't penalize the high end users.

Cheers
Walt

Patch for the patch:

Apparently the reduced texture quality was 'an accident of implementation', not an intentional change.

This is an independant fan site, nothing to do with producing Cliffs of Dover.

Of course this site has no relation to the developers, thats obvious, however you seem to be part of the developers orbit, at least thats what i gather from previous postings! Instead of rediculing someone who is stating the obvious you should maybe concern yourself with less forum policing and a little more with the product that you are involved with!

Part of your post says this, which is to imply that SimHQ has something to do with CoD, which is incorrect. Maybe CoD devs hang around here, I have no idea!
Or is this some sort of open letter type of post?
People here are just CoD fans (more or less) and other than that, have nothing to do with the project.
