I remember seeing a TNG episode where Counselor Troi and some other female crew members were dressed in what looked like workout/gym clothes? It was just so funny to me because this is supposed to be the 24th century but yet the clothing and hairstyles were so obviously 1980's.

Don't lie--you know you liked watching them in those 80s workout clothes. :P

Polar on Netflick. An assassin due to retire gets targeted as his employer doesn't want to pay his pension. Same vein as "John Wick", old assassin taking down criminal empire out of revenge with a small joke about John Wick mixed in.

I find it interesting how both Keanu Reeves and Liam Neeson both had their careers revived by doing revenge action movies.

Should have never watched it,I knew they'd f**k it up. Stick to the book.

So it seems Mortal Engines is as bad as most critics said it was.

Darkest Hour, which was Excellent and then Battle of Britain immediately after Darkest Hour. It was a really good back to back movie choice and enjoyed them both thoroughly. yep

I saw “Incredibles 2” last night. I think it’s every bit as good as the first film. It’s a very worthy sequel.

I saw this last night. It’s yet another movie that starts off with a great build up of suspense and mystery but then runs out of gas in the third act and has a payoff that isn’t nearly as interesting as the build up.

Netflix: Polar
Part John Wick, part Reds, part The American.
Good old retiring assassin badass movie with Mads Mikkelsen. Really fun flick with just enough dark humor.

edit...I see Dabbq mentioned it already, so consider this another endorsement!
Interestingly, it’s Feb 9th, the date showing on a camera viewscreen in the movie. LOL

I saw "Overlord" last night. Horror, war movie. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I had fun watching it. Yeah, black paratroopers didn't serve with the 101st Airborne, but niether were the Nazis bringing the dead back to life.......or were they......

"Venom" on pay-per-view last night.
Nature called me twice, wandered off to check the fridge once, never bothered to hit pause or rewind.

Cheers,
Slug

That about summed it up for me too.

I did enjoy Polar though and I might give Overlord a try.

The box office performance for “Overlord” was really terrible so we will most likely not see a Castle Wolfenstein-type story in theaters again for a very long time. Overlord should have really been a Netflix movie instead of being a full blown theatrical release.

Watched 'Hurricane' for the second time; t'was even worse than the first viewing. Very weird aerial CGI, looked like animations from the 1940's.

I picked up on that from the trailer, thinking they would improve for the full release. That's a no then. I'll give it a miss I think.

Oh Hell, yeah. It's not gonna win any Oscars or Emmy's. It's like watching one of those old Roger Corman movies that are simply awful....and yet, you watch the whole movie!
