"Chappie".
I didn't like it as much as "District 9" but I thought it was better than the incredibly preachy "Elysium".

"Parts: The Clonus Horror" - The Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of course.
The most interesting thing about this movie is that the producers of the film ended up suing Dreamworks because the film "The Island" was essentially a remake of Clonus. They ended up settling out of work for an undisclosed amount.

Very good movie about PTSD and how hard it is for vets returning. Miles Teller and Haley Bennett, the smoke show from Girl on the Train. Didn't even recognize Amy Schumer during the movie.
Tough to watch through as it's a real tear jerker at what struggles out vets continue to go through thanks to the usless VA...
Combat S1E1 & E2 from 1962 on Youtube. My father was complaining about his cable bill and said all he really wanted was to watch shows like Combat, the Rifleman, Gunsmoke, etc... I told him to drop DirectTV and get a Roku and watch all the shows from his childhood on Youtube.
My kids were pissing me off last night fighting over the Xbox so I made them watch the first two episodes of Combat. My two son deserted me but my 11 y/o daughter hung in there. I think she would go to the Gates of Hell with me if that is where I went.
The road less traveled is filled with fewer needy people.

I got curious about "Combat" so I looked it up on IMDB and found out that Vic Morrow was the star of the show. Very sad how he ended up dying at just 53 years of age.

"It's a little much"
Do you mean it's a bit weird?

I really like "The Fifth Element" which is also directed by Luc Besson. You can tell right away that the movie was not made by an American director.

I tried to like that movie but I just couldn't do it. Been so long since I last saw it to remember what I didn't like but I do remember a friend of mine and I watched it together and he just loved it and all I could think is "You have got to be kidding me".
I was expecting great things from Valerian. The Fifth Element is one of my all-time favourite movies,so another sci-fi from Besson had me quite excited, however it failed to deliver for me at least.
My brother bought me season 1 of Black Sails last year in Jan for my Birthday, hadn't watched it till last week and damn is it a good series. Right up there with Game of Thrones.
Main character is Capt Flint, played by Tobey Stephens who was Glen 'Bub' Doherty in 13 Hours Tom Harper, who plays Billy Bones, was Dickon Tarly in GoT.
Lots of boobies in it too. ( . ) ( . )
I just bought seasons 2 & 3 on Amazon, show is originally on Starz so if you have that you can just watch it on Demand.
