I get "You can not play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.cherarus" when trying to join any server.
- Make sure you launch the game as 'Combined Operations' and NOT 'Operation Arrowhead' when launching from STEAM.

also is missing some things even though i used the updater.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I'm not much of an Arma expert. You might get more (and quicker) help in the Arma forum here on in the official DayZ forum, lots of helpful guys there.

EDIT:

Found this, maybe it helps:

Close Steam completely.

Find the Steam.exe in your program files and run as ADMINISTRATOR.

Log in to Steam and launch ARMA 2: OA.

Exit out of that game and then load ARMA: CO.

BTW the increased Zombie numbers really make for some interesting shopping trips into the cities...

biggrin

Oh yeah!

I respawned at the coast after getting killed and entered the nearest big city to equip myself. Got lucky and found lots of stuff. Disturbed some Zombies while doing so.

I left the city half an hour later with 78 Zombie kills.
