You can get an A-6A cockpit from the
SF2V Air and Ground War Expansion, and a modified TRAM cockpit (a re-skinned A-6A pit) from
Desert Storm . That said, I think the RAZBAM cockpit set alone is worth the $16, and it adds quite a bit to the feeling of "being there".
As far as GME goes, that's optional. I put instructions in the readme on how to install it old school. Basically every module in the MODS folder has the proper file structure beneath it, so you can install them directly to your SF2 Mods folder. However, some of the optional mods may be better served so that you can activate or deactivate via GME at your behest (e.g. A-6AB Flare mod and the restricted modexes mod).
