...gonna get a little love and attention from 777?

It is a great start but we need more.

- More Squads
- More a/c up in the air late war
- More appropriate mission types for the Germans
- Aces we can fly with - as well as fight with

...so whose with me??

yeah, i agree, a lot more luvin'!!!

I'd like to see more mission variations:

1. scrambling to meet an attack on the home airfield
2. balloon defense missions
3. bridge and factory defense missions
4. picking up the stranded aviator(or secret documents) in enemy territory(i know a bit far-fetched, but after watching Dawn Patrol again the other day...why not!!!)

the guys over at 777 have been doing a great job thus far, and with continued input, ideas and support from the community, i believe this sim can and will achieve a longevity on par with RB3D & IL2. cheers

I'd love...

1) Personal Aircraft! In a lot of the early flight sims (like Dynamix's Red Baron), once you reached a certain level you could have your own personal aircraft of a different type to your squadron. On missions, you could fly a squadron aircraft or your own personal machine. If you were good enough, you were offered a prototype of an upcoming type to try before it reached squadron service.

Is this historical? Hell yes!
Albert Ball had a N17 at 56 Squadron (SE5a)
Billy Barker had a Camel at 28 Squadron (F2B). Later he trialed a Snipe.
Manfred von Richthofen had a F.I (prototype Dr.I) at JG1 (Alb)

2) Inter-Squadron transfers.

3) Names and careers for AI gunners in two-seater squadrons (just like the AI pilots)

I'd be more than happy to pay for some improvements to the campaign. I've bought every aircraft there's even a small chance I'll fly despite the fact that I regularly fly only 2 or 3. Better offline content would be much appreciated.

They add stuff to the beta career every patch. They have been pretty good about including more and more squadrons. I would also love to see the other stuff. I would also love it if there was an option for the field and weapon mods so that you had to "earn" them before you could use them.

If there is a specific squadron not in the game that you want included all you have to do is research it and include all of it's historic locations, planes, paint schemes etc. Then package it up and send it in. They will review it and include it in an upcoming patch. They have done this for several squadrons already.

One thing I still do not get about the B-career is the lack of aircraft patrolling the front. This is something both sides did, isn't it? You definitely see them with the PWCG.

I would like to see higher altitudes in the B-career, fwiw. Right now patrol/combat altitudes are less than half of what they were in 1918.

Best thing you can do to get more squadrons included.
Research your wanted one and post all information on the ROF-forums.

Lets hope one of the developers at 777 owns a OFF3 DVD and a RB3d CD.
But historic pilot names in your flight would be great!!

Still do not know what the sports/noble/soldier/or "wath ever" man to select doing in the Beta career, whish 777 did put these efforts in somthing else.

RTFM

Yeah, they actually were putting their efforts somewhere else while the community wrote the Pilot Bios!

Its funny how ideas, that were brought up by communitymembers to make the career more atmospheric, like the pilot bios, are getting punishment now.
And they were written by communitymembers ...

Actually, I like to have fictional names in the dynamic career.
To replay historical squadron careers, its better to make a scrpted campaign. And there its absolute possible to give your Squadmates the historcal names.
