Working on the new Ant farm ................." .." .."

They are invading everywhere

What's that?

??

More ant poison needed... ant farms are everywhere now frown

You May Be Our Only Hope

Many of the roads in the region are dead-ended. These isolated waypoints have become bunkers for a new menace that is spreading quickly. As it grows in strength, the Red threat strengthens each new Bunker with ever capable air defense.

Soon the Red ants will march over all our bases unless we stop them by destroying their bunkers. Mav's are useless.

Eh guys. I'm back off To work now so I've moved the server onto my main machine and made similar adjustments. However- it may not show up in your history lists anymore- may be found in the normal Internet server list now.

I've also abandoned my ts3 server in favor of simhqs. I can always fire it back up if SimHQ goes down again.

Again- any problems with the client side let me know. Perhaps it's something I can adjust.

And with that being said- if upgrades / transitions to dcs world happen- I'm not sure if it'll affect serving for those of you without dcs world. For example- I have two copies...do I also need to buy two copies of dcs world? Will I only need one?

Looking forward to seeing missions with a wide variety of aircraft and to be honest I can't wait to fly somewhere other than the black sea region!

If anyone has a mission request let me know and I'll see what I can do about running it on Eno's Firehouse.

Looking forward to the upcoming patch -

Looks like ships will be fixed which will bring back mothballed missions

• Several electrical devices in cockpit not working properly.
tc, ^^^ maybe the above means that mag light thingie will work soon!

Multiplayer issues are being addressed, too. I was home for lunch and Nuke Plant was still running after 14 hours, albeit one plane that was suspended on the tarmac by about 8" - I think maybe that was what was left of a pilot that lost connection - that looks to be addressed with the new patch -
• MP client slots stay unusable for a long period of time if the previous client timed out.

The new Ants mission is marching along... got all the ant piles laid down on the map but the logic is all wrong so I'm ripping it all up after like +20 hours arrggg boom

TOMCAT?! Where the heck you been? I flew just about my whole last set of days off without you to suppress SAMS! So basically I was SAD (suppressing air defences) on my own (I know it's SEAD but SAD is more appropriate in this case.)

Okay- I shouldn't say "on my own" as I'm sure I was assisted by a great many readers in here who just muttered to themselves "What a jerk... he didn't even acknowledge ME!"

BUT you get the picture!

So- back to the topic at hand here... where did you go? Out working a street corner to get your TIR5 paid off sooner than later? That's what I would do...

Ha! Glad you missed me smile I almost joined last eve but watched hockey instead. I'll have to get back on soon as I'm starting to miss playing. I wish our schedules synced up a little better cause it's always fun flying with you guys. I'm going out Saturday night so if I join when we get home it should be good timing if you folks are around. I haven't even set up the new Teamspeak server yet, if it's any indication of how long I've been away. Maybe this weekend will work, and I might try and get on tomorrow evening too but I think you're back to work?

Looks like I'm around 6 weeks from TrackIR go live too. Woohoo! First thing I'm gonna do is practice spotting SAMs without a hat switch. Getting shot at might become more fun!

I can assure you from experience that TIR5 does not make that experience any easier... basically just an early warning indicator that you're about to get shot down.

Sort of like a radar detector- simply a device that notifies you that you're about to get a ticket wink

The server has been running pretty good this week. It looks to me like most of the missions are reloading properly, as I will sign on to see the mission elapsed time at some low number and pilots in the mission.

The server was down this morning though. I'd started up Road Kill before I retired last night but no server this morning and a DCS Stopped Working message to boot. I restarted it with the ever-favorite Fulda Gap.

If any of you pilots are in a mission when it stops on you please let us know? Also very curious if the Black Sharks can reload at the FARPs now?

It's almost the weekend!
