Can somebody explain please how Axes tuning work in COD? For example, I'm trying to tune Rudder Trim Axis. So, there are following settings:
0% Dead Zone:
100% Dead Zone:
While I think I understand 0% Dead Zone setting, the 100% Dead Zone slider is something very new on me. And I thought I'd seen it all...

Thanks,
Dirk.

Too late, I did not save the default map... Will have to ask for it if I mess it up.

I think the thing to watch is the in/out graphics, they compare the input of the stick/rudder to the effect the stick/rudder has in the game.
As I understand it the 0% deadzone is for 0 deflection of the stick, and the 100% deadzone is for the maximum deflection of the stick. I don't really see where that would be useful though.

Does Complex Engine Management override "Toggle Automatic Radiator Control" in the Aircraft's Controls?

Thanks,
Dirk.

I think if I remove my custom controls ini from 'My Documents\\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover' folder the exe will create a new default one next time I'll launch the game.

Dirk.

PS: it resets the Keys section to the defaults, not the Axes.
PSS: It messes up actually, some default bindings are back and some are not.

Don't know, never used it. I think thats an option on some of the LW planes. Also good to remember that there are control options 'deploy arrestor hook' for example that have no possible use in CloD. So dont expect everything to do something.
