I'm flying the RE 8 in career mode and having some problems with bombing missions.

The level autopilot keeps disengaging while I'm in the bombsight view (v). My understanding was that when you go from pilot view to bombsight, it automatically puts on the level-AP.

Am I missing something or is this a known bug?

One of your controllers is disengaging the auto pilot, make sure your hands are off the stick and rudder and taht the throttle is full. Make sure you're flying relatively level when you engage the auto pilot and if the problem still persists try putting a deadzone on your rudder pedals or flight stick.

Exactly, sounds like the aircraft is overloaded. The RE8's full load in RoF is more than the aircraft is really capable of carrying.

I can not use the autopilot. Force feedback shakes the joystick so much (when I release the stick) that it turns the autopilot off.
I think. Does this sound possible?
