If SimHQ plans a Saturday MP event for this title, I'll definitely pick this up. I'm not able to attend Military Monday right now because I'm on the swing shift at work.

Unless there is a showstopper bug in the final multiplayer server, its for sure SimHQ will be hosting a Saturday AM event of Iron Front.

Reportedly the gold version releases on May 25th. Several places are offering pre-orders, or wait for our review of the shipping version.

This may well be a day one purchase for me! Looks really great.

Something I'm really looking forward to seeing is if it is possible to 'drop in' ArmA 2 content, particularly maps. Clearly the new armor damage system isn't compatible for tanks/vehicles (as noted in the article), but I wonder about other assets.

I know it's early days yet, but what time in the AM is the event planned? Will it bump into SimHQ's racing events on Saturday? I might need to bring another computer into this room, so I can multi-task between Iron Front and racing.

Racing: 12 PM eastern

Want to avoid two SimHQ hosted events competing with each other time wise. wink
