There exists irrefutable scientific evidence that strongly suggests?
A person can traipse through a cattle feed lot, bend over and pick up
a "clod".....throw it as far as they can? Then....argue that it flew, in fact.

"Field Testing" has proven this theory. The "alpha patch" is proof positive, the Russians have stumbled upon it.

Personally I'm running the seelöwe campaign and so far no crashes. Biggest problem for me is the ever rolling enemy, those guys must have cockpits stacked with pukebags. Tailgunners letting rip while inverted is equally (non)-impressive.

As a side note, I'm having serious problems making out the radio communication. Is there any way to fix this? I found a setting for voice volume but that didn't do diddly.

For the ever-rolling enemy, here's a AI tweak worth trying:

http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3557661/FIX_for_crazy_AI_snap_rolls_in.html#Post3557661

Personally I think they should put it in the patch as I much prefer it.

Why is everybody "#%&*$#" about this BETA patch? Everyone should look up and understand the word "beta". You have the choice of downloading and trying it out or playing the game as it is. It would be different to complain if it was a final patch, but it isn't. They were kind enough to give us the beta patch so we could try it out and let them know any problems we come across so they can fix it. CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM people! Stop the #%&*$#. Be happy they let us try it. Many people complained about the delay of the patch. We got it. Test it. Move on.

I think my problem is, that for me the game is unplayable as it is, and the patch only made it worse, so I do not have too much choice.
But ok, next time I do not even mention it, if it bothers you too much. smile

Please Furbs, that's annoying taking what I say out of context and then making a statement that suggests you're challenging my statement that is presented out of context. You're expecting me to justify 14 mnths of alpha state? Don't think so.

Sorry Bish i wasn't challenging your statement, more of just a comment. I know where you stand mate.

I think I understand sexism better. I will no longer use a derogatory term involving women and complaining as I see men seem to be just as guilty.

Hence alpha

What does that mean, I'm not supposed to post my observations because it's "alpha"?

Damn, after all this time they havent fixed it frown I havent played it since summer of last year waiting and hoping to come back to a solid sim but it seems that it will never happen.I will wait for a while, probalbly 6 months or so and if it isnt running as it should Im honestly going to unisntall it and just forget about it.I would have been happy with a 2 plane sim with a single map half the size of the current one if it worked properly.

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011

I've gotten my first crashes now (single player) and I'll swear it has to do with the Wellington bomber. If I replace them with the Blenheim I don't get the crashes.
