Nothing there as I have expected as the game just froze and didn`t crash.

Here I was all excited then I read this thread. Incredible. Has there ever been a bigger crash and burn of a proud franchise with one product release?? "Try Coke Arsenic. But it has only been on shelves a year or so, thus dont blame us if it sends you to the ER. We are on holiday now so bear with us!"

First off; anyone else getting the vaguely Flag looking Red rectangle at the beginning with the plane in the crosshairs logo?
I first ran it I wasn't impressed I did get some little issues but then I cranked all the settings up to High (even SSAO) and ran a few single missions with lots of planes and it looks sweet, very few stutters and no crashes. I also tweaked some vid card settings for generally High Quality and I cant complain, maybe I'll find something later but, It's Good!

Yep, the red square before the target sight logo is what I see too.

Still furious they had the hide to charge people money for this and attempted to pass it off as a finished game.

Yes a finished game with an alpha beta patch. Or is it a beta game with an alpha patch.

Mine crashed to. Serves me right for not being patient and waiting for the release version...

It is a beta game with an alpha patch... maybe I'll get it working in the morning.

It seems to be a placeholder for the Ubi logo, as this is the first patch that didn't put that .wmv file back in. I get it after the circle, but before the crazy eye pilot.

In light of how the patch is being recieved, I edited the subject line and removed about 19 exclamation points. lol

I was at work all day so I was feeling left out until I read the responses for the patch. I guess I will wait a couple of weeks (or longer) until it's deemed ready to be called retail, or at least a stable beta.

If this is the alpha beta then they still have 22 more Greek letters left before they run out

My guess is we'll see a patch a week/bi-weekly now.
