well, this morning i finanly managed it, i ordered a new pc, not the best out there for sure, but the best i could afford and better than my current one biggrin

Intel Core i7-3820 3.60GHz (Sandybridge-E) Socket LGA2011 Processor
Asus P9X79 PRO Intel X79 (Socket 2011) DDR3 Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Genesis 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz C9 Quad Channel MemoryKit
GeForce GTX 550Ti 1024MB GDDR5
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA 6GB/s 32MB Cache
Samsung SH-B123L/RSBP 12x BluRay ROM / DVDRW DL & RAM Lightscribe SATA-II Optical Drive
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750W V2 High Performance Power Supply
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

current one is :-

Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33Ghz
4GB ram (though xp only sees 3 of it!)
Geforce 9800GT 512mb

so yea ... i'm happy biggrin gonna be a long wait for it to arrive though, barring leafs on the road it should be here wensday! biggrin biggrin

Better than mine!

Now you can turn your ArmA settings up high enough that you're shooting more than textureless blobs, lol.

yup! mind you, the PMC will prolly look rubbish now, one advantage of running everything on low is that the lite stuff looks exactly the same hahaha
