I have a Cooler Master Stormtrooper computer case (which is great, btw).
Tonight I opened the case, added back my 2nd video card, then closed the case, turned back on the power, and pressed the power button on the top of the case. No response. Turned off the power, unplugged the power cable, then plugged back in. Power button still did nothing. Opened case, checked connections, and turned on the computer by pressing the Start button on. The mobo. Turned on the computer and Windows ran a Start Up repair, which was unable to fix anything. (computer was unplugged from the Internet at this time)

It seems that for some reason both the power and reset buttons on the top front of the case are no longer working. The fan speed buttons however do work. There are no mobo error codes indicating any problem.

I checked to make sure the power cable from the case is properly plugged into the PSU, and it is.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks.

I'm betting you pulled the plugs to the jumpers on the mobo. Check that, and make sure you've got them put back on the right ones. That will ruin your day if you don't have the layout somewhere or online.

Two things.

1) Ensure your connectors for the power button is plugged into the motherboard. Maybe they came loose?

2) Apparently new cases do not have the speaker for the beep codes. I learned this when installed my 550D two days ago. Why? I do not know, it seemed like a very helpful feature.

3) When you added in the other card, did you make sure the power was off?

A lot of motherboards now have a (quieter) beeper on board, with the usual beep codes (no memory, failed CMOS etc). Even between manufactures the long/short codes are common - handy if something isn't sat right smile

Yes, I turn off the power on the PSU and then unplug the power cable before I do anything in the case. I unplugged then replugged the power for the power button.

What mobo jumpers are you referring to, kryptonote?

The clear CMOS buttons?

Maybe check the front of the case as the connector/wire might have gotten loose?

No, the connector that attaches those power cables to the mobo.
