I am having a problem with the skins of the stock C 172. No matter what a/c I choose, all I get is an all white a/c.The correct a/c registration # is there, nice all white pait, but no colors??

What is it? FS9/X? If so, check the aircraft.cfg file to make sure they refer to the correct texture folder. A missing texture folder is the most probable cause for that problem.

Stay away from the "Red and Gold" C172 texture.

That's because its not using a unique fallback folder but there's an easy fix.

Go to the C172 folder and make a copy of the Texture folder, rename it to Texture.0
Now open the aircraft.cfg and in the [fltsim.5] section edit texture= to texture=0
If you want you can change ui_variation=" Red, Gold" to ui_variation="White" seeing as that's what it really is, I'v no idea what happened to the Red and Gold one.
Save and your done.
