A very interesting post by the Orbx CEO on their expansion plans into UK and Europe and region and airport release roadmap.

http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/44575-orbx-expansion-plans-and-roadmap-may-2012/

For those that don't have access to the FTX forums, here's a list of what is currently being worked on:
Quote:

Australia

YBTH Bathurst Airport
YBRK Rockhamption Airport
YSCB Cityscape Canberra

New Zealand

FTX NZ North Island Region (NZ-NI)
NZQN Queenstown Airport
NZMF Milford Sound Airport

North America

FTX Northern California Region (NA-NCA)
FTX South Alaska Region (NA-SAK)
CZST Stewart Airport, PFJ
W16 Monroe Airport
77S Kresswell (including bonus OR57 Walker Field)
KAJC Jackson Hole
KVOU Pearson Field Airport
CQBC Bella Coola Airport
KWYS West Yellowstone
KW28 Sequim Valley

Aircraft

Victa Airtourer
Vans RV4 (alpha cabin detail shot below)

Europe

FTX England Region (EU-ENG)
EGHR Chichester/Goodwood Airport
EGKA Shoreham/Brighton Airport
EGHI Southampton International
.. plus many more in pre-production for the UK.

Wow I better start saving up some money looks like I will be spending lots on FSX this year and 2013, starting with W16 and CZST (video here).

I'm not a shill for Orbx (and sometimes their official PR makes no sense to me), but their scenery is a big reason I enjoy FSX so much and the roadmap looks like more great stuff to come.

Finally, European coverage ! I wouldn't have gone with England though, maybe the Alps or Norway instead, but very interesting nonetheless !

Cheers
