rejuvenating the Hr Me262A-1 by Johnson with further models having stalled ages ago, now with a B-1a/U1 nachtjager variant, the definitive B-2a version will only be a further adjustment stretching the fuselage 4 more feet...

as well as making use of the colour poly code which updates them with jet engine illumination...something to help simulate that appearance for internal combustion, might recess it little more next time...

btw the 3dz engine codes were wrong all this time too, so now CTR+1 works only the left engine and CTR+2 the right engine with the illumination appearing only when either engines are on...navigation lights are also in progress - cheers

Shrink an engine or wing fire and place it in the nacelle...

Maybe...

And finally, nice job on the Nachtjadger.

How about rounding the nacelle?

Is that possible?

Yes, rounding the edges would be good!
One of the major flaws of the 3dz is the kink between fuselage and tail. The original features a straight edge from wing to tail tip. Is this possible?
The paneling comncerning the MK 108 gun covers is a bit messed up, but this mistake originates certainly from the original skin and is only a skinning issue.
Btw, Mike, there are several skins of a Me 262 nightfighter squadron "Kommando Welter":

Otherwise the Sturmvogel´s looking great thumbsup

You could use the "tongues of fire" such as in the "luminous exhaust" V1.

already thought of using the V1 flame texture except while inflight 262 didn't emit rocket flames besides theres no room left on the wing pcxs and a colour poly flame in the day time only looks like an static cone sticking out! so instead i got the idea modding engine glow after seeing this artwork...

and since mentioning it! easier to just round off a single element which that coloured element does make the hex-like nacelle look even more pronounced...

after that maybe add a Nachtjager A-1a with the FuG neptune array to the series, in time apply the engine fix to Rays HGIII and an unfinished HGIII-3 ive been sitting on...also be applying this feature to Gibbons Horten.

Hi,

afaik the flames of that kind of turbo, if fully warmed up, should be more blue, they dont had a afterburner.

Only blue flames are economically effective and a little to fast throttle movement already did let flame out this early turbos.

yellow flames = soot = failsure.

Greetings,

Knegel

in that case maybe i'll just do several different color choices to pick from, itm heres a rounder element compared to the default but limited to that size since its using too many points now...

thats the best it'll be without "somebody else" rebuilding a rounder nacelle and i forgot we're limited to using either the red/yellow/green-ish illuminations...

...right now the yellow illumination seems to be the only color that works best visually day/night for this heat exhaust effect!!!
