Can any of you A-10C aficionados tell me if my system will run it ok? Seems to be between minimum and recommended specs, but my XP is 32 bit, not 64.

I "should" run, but you may have to make some tweaks, such as the 3Gb RAM switch, in order for it to be stable.

If you're not sure, download the DCS:World beta. DCS:World is free and includes everything BUT the individual flyable aircraft, although the SU-25T (lock-on standard) is included for free as a sort of demo come bonus.

No, as the game doesn't use Steamworks at all.

No, jack.

But as was said above, you will need to go to the DCS web site to get the latest v1.1.1.1 - recommend that if the box version is not v1.1.1.1 that you download the full install and use that.

Not sure about this. Once you purchase just go to the title in your library and click view product code. ( right click on the title to bring up the menu I believe).

The view code option won't show up when you right click until you have completely downloaded the game. So he has to DL it from Steam once at least.

Funny. When I bought my second copy to run my server on a whole different account I didn't have to download it.

On your Steam Library page, which display mode do you use? The one with news panel on the right and titles on the left?

I also picked up this sim on sale. The code shows up as soon as you start the Steam download. At which point you can just stop it. So, no need to download all of it through Steam, if you don't want to.
