Steam Offer - should I buy?

Hi folks,
I've just logged in to Steam and noticed that they have DCS A10 on offer for £10.
I just wanted to know what the overall opinion of DCS A10 is - I currently fly a lot of Falcon AF and really enjoy it as it 'feels' real and authentic. My concern is I don't want to spend the money if A10 is more like LOMAC as LOMAC never felt right to me.
I guess the important questions are:
Is there a dynamic campaign so you can play again and again? Is the manual just like AF's - very technical Does it feel as authentic as AF - obviously the graphics look a lot better! :-)
Thanks Rob

Thanks - that sounds good enough to me to invest the £10.19. :-)

buy from steam, dl from DCS's site, use your steam code to authenticate. (so its not tied to Steam.)

Okay, cool, thanks - is having it on Steam a bad thing then. I've never had any issues with Steam before.

I just bought it off of Steam. I use Steam a lot, so I know what to expect and what I'm getting.

Getting away from Steam will make it less of a hassle if you want to alter/mod any files(don't install it in the default location). It will also allow you to patch from ED which means you will have patches much sooner (based on history for this particular product).

It's $13! Of course you should buy it!
Edit: I actually bought a copy in beta for $60, but I prefer the convenience of Steam (no pesky DRM) and feel it's worth $13 of my hard earned cash to get away from a set number of installations and the awful web interface at digitalcombatsimulator.com

the Steam version uses the same DRM as the one purchased directly from Eagle Dynamics.

I think I am going to pass this time..but next Steam sale (you KNOW there will be one!!) I will probably pull the trigger. Then again, I still have about 2 hours to fold like a cheap paper fan Can any of you A-10C aficionados tell me if my system will run it ok? Seems to be between minimum and recommended specs, but my XP is 32 bit, not 64.
