I have to say "no" on the Cadillac of the skies scene. I did actually think "Of all the crazy things...." when it turned toward me, though.

It's probably because he saw you drivin a Japanese troop carrier ( your Evo ). If you had been drivin an American troop carrier ( Corvette ) he would've flown on by and not strafed you. biggrin

Lol, that would be so cool and scary at the same time.

Reminds me of a story I heard from a vet who was stationed in England in WW II. He was an engineer in the army and their housing was close to an airfield. One day everybody started diving under the barracks when they heard some Spitfires scrambling. They were very low and came right at him. He said that he could see the wings flutter under full power.

What, doesn't everyone have a P-51D at their local GA airpot? smile

What's cool (for me) is that on the morning of Cat's post I found a nice display on my drive to work . Apparently the owner changed hangars from "can't see it as I drive by the airport" to the hangar right next to the main road as I drive to work as he had it parked right outside. Not only that but there was also what I think is a P-40 in the same hangar.

I live about 1.5 miles SE of the airport and because 90% of the time the wind blows to the east, my house is pretty much under where prop planes turn onto the base leg so I get a nice view of most of the planes at the aiport.
