I've recently noticed that when running the Device Analyzer that comes with TARGET that my Joystick never returns to the same center postion. The problem seems to be most severe with the X-Axis as it can be off by about 1000-1500 units and the Y-axis is usually off only about 100-300 units. There also seems to be a bit of a "notch" to the right on the X-axis that the stick trys to center to and with a little pressure it moves off that point closer to center. Thsi behavior is the same with or without TARGET running.

I was curious how well the Joystick centers for the Warthog users. Any feedback folks?

You can recalibrate it. Email Thrustmaster to get their dedicated recalibration utility that writes data directly into the joystick.

Thanks for the info. I'll send them an email.

After more testing I believe the problem is more mechanical in nature than software. As mentioned, when I deflect the stick to the right or left and release, on the X-axis it returns to a spot just to the right of center. However, any slight force and tends to move back to it's center point. So I just think I've got a less than optimal centering mechanism in my stick.
