I've been busy fiddling around adding the gun and inner wing stubs, so the model looks like this.

I'm getting a bit desperate for nodes again, as it always is, at this stage of the model. I'm now going to add the landing gear, and then it's a few wires, and bits to see the model finished. wink

Using my standard WWI wheel, which I think is a bit big, I've now got the basic landing gear built.

Almost time to add the rigging, and finish mapping. smile

I've still been plodding away on this model, and tonight was it;s first test run in game. Other than a glitch with the landing gear, everything is looking OK. smile

After all this yers, EAW still looks good. Shame we can't align those trees with the trees in the textures, that will add a lot of inmersion and will make the game look even better.

Yes, I'm quite pleased with the model, although I've had to miss off one small detail, due to a lack of nodes. The skin is a free to use, card model, 1/33 scale model, which I've adapted for the model.

I've got a few others, from the same source, I'm thinking of doing, like the Morane-Saulnier L, which is almost a copy of the EIII, and or, the Nieuport-28. wink

I've been adding the support wires for the wings, and there are still more to add!
