oh wait, maybe I should have said "it's way harder than FC2 and A-10C's". Im not sure new maneuver or tactics were implemented.
But I can tell you it's definitely hard to beat AI than other 2.
Definitely something I'm keen to learn more about, even if it's not in the beta yet. If the P-51 is modelled more just for acrobatics or maybe mud-moving then I could see myself getting bored after a few weeks. If it's got decent ACM via single player AI that fit with prop combat (yoyos, stall turns etc) then that would be ideal. Not seeing anyone mention that, so I suspect not yet anyway..
Spent a good couple of hours with this last night and absolutely love it. Best sim i've ever played and it's still only a beta.
Love how the aircraft feels heavy in the air and enjoy wrestling with it during taxying and take off.
Fingers crossed a third part developer will rush out at WW2 or Korean map for it. And some appropriate AI opponents (Perhaps the LA 9 for Korea, late FW-190s for a WW2 European senario or the Ki-84 for Japan WW2).
I reckon the ultimate would be a third party korean map with the F4U-4 and carrier ops.
Well done to all involved. Here's hoping the third party devlopers come on board quickly.
I don't understand what UBI has to do with FC3. I though that on lu LockOn was to UBi, but Flaming Cliff was to ED. And if ''flaming cliff'' brand is own by UBI, ED should change the name of FC3
Unisoft owns the LOMAC title, and FC is a LOMAC add-on. Changing the name accomplishes nothing.
PS: That doesn't mean that interesting solutions can't happen, you never know.

I thought that was all settled with Flaming Cliffs 2. No matter. Forget about FC3. Just have an DCS add on called ED: The Early Years and include the Su27/33/25, MiG 29A/S/(and K if you really love me), and F-15. No need for any of the old missions and therefore no need for Ubi's blessing.

If it were that easy legally, ED would have done that prior to at least FC2.
