Posted this by accident in BF3 forum, but still hasn't been moved so reposted here.

Just a quick post to say check out the 'Dayz' alpha. Been playing it over the weekend and it could be a really fantastic mod when finished. It's a zombie survival RPG and details or in the dayz thread on the BIS forums.

The only thing I do not like is the "Benny Hill" zombies. I hope they slow them down.

I think their speed is ok, sorta like 28 days later. Animations could be better, but that's the way it is with Arma2 I guess.

The mod plays just like a Stalker MMO. Great gameplay. I've joined up with a lot of players and working together, but it's risky, as most players are out to kill you for loot.

Never saw 28 days later. But they have to slow down some, cause there are no melee weapons in ArmA2. Right now they virtually teleport to you.

Started playing this last night. Atmosphere is exceptional and the game is a blast. I do agree with the above statement though. The warping/Benny Hill zombies really need to be reworked.
