Greetings,
I have a question for you guys-When using the TGP to employ laser guided munition on MOVERS when the LGB hits the TGP snaps to the currently selected steerpoint and does not stay on the exact position of the impact, when doing another run you obviously have to reaquire the movers with the FCR in the GMT mode and then fine tune with the TGP. Is there a way to make the TGP stay on position where the bomb hits so that a simple reposition of the LOS would put you on the next mover? Also it seems that the TGP does not hold a good point track consistently when the mover has well distinct edges-is that a bug or those are the ways the actual system works?

Hi mookar

In Krauses training videos, he says that the tgp is buggy at the moment.
So maybee it will be working in a later version?

You are welcome.
If you hold the cross manually over your target, the LGB should hit thumbsup

Happy Hunting

Dragon,
It seems that non raliability of keeping a good Point track of the TGP is a bug in the terrain programming algorythms - that is what the official thread in the forums of the BMS site states, but the jump of the cursor after the LGB impacts is what the actual system of the F16 does, that's why pilots prefer to manually guide the cursor along with the mover (in AREA mode)!

Hi Bros;
I Press Shif-2 (2 in numbering pad) to switch to TGP page in stead of FCR page but there is are some prblem.
1: TGP pod can't always track and lock the heat of targets as like as tanks. sometime do & sometime not( I am talking aboit range less than 10 nm).
2: I am locking on the tank heat and I see the IR traking and lock square on TGP page but will some times miss or hit to the point that is in FCR aimed to OR EVEN in the Waypoint position.
3: 70% of time the lock on the Traget by FCR will lose and my GBU will miss too. in fact when I pass the target position I loose my FCR lock just the thing is remaining for me is the designation that I had buy IR pointing ( using Shift-2 and press 0 button on time to have IR pointing view) and it is enough for GBU to be leaded to target bot it will miss. I have tested both TGP pointing & not pointing. both are the same.

Is there any other tactics to use?

lots of thanks Heydar thumbsup
