Ok, I decided to make this poll extremely difficult by making you choose only ONE from the list but that's what makes it fun isn't it? Who from this list do you think was the most capable, admirable and charistmatic sci-fi commander/leader/captain?

Sheridan would send the rest of them STRAIGHT TO HELL. Like everyone else. LOL Plus he did die for the cause and all. And came back. Picard a close second before a long drop to the rest of them. Janeway wasn't bad either considering the circumstances that crew dealt with on their own.
edit: Crap, we both forgot about the Angriest Angel. He'd be up there too for your criteria.

You missed Lt. Jean Razak... he would eat all those for breakfast.

Yeah seriously, where's LTC McQueen or Commodore Ross?

Some good names there, but I'm old school and had to go with Kirk. He just always seemed to do the right thing for the right reasons, and was almost always successful. Of course we're critiquing the writing more than the character, but I think Kirk was a more admirable personality for me. Sisko is a close second, and probably only lost out to Kirk from me because I grew up with Kirk .

Wish I could have picked two of then so that I could've included the EJO Adama, but since I could only pick one, I had to go with Jack O'Neill.

Yeah seriously, where's LTC McQueen or Commodore Ross? Yeah, yeah, those two are great and I knew I was going to get ribbed for not having a completely comprehensive list but I only had time to type down 15.

So many great sci-fi shows were killed off after only one season. Space Above & Beyond, Firefly, Caprica, Crusade etc.
