I looked forward to GW1 and even preordered the CE back then, but was ultimately disappointed. These two posts sum up the game and the people playing it perfectly for me. My experiences come from playing on german servers - Para's might as well - possibly it was less dire on the US counterparts.

Haha! Won't play with any unknown wanna-bes from the internet. I got a few friends who I can team up with. All set!

I have been playing Tera last few days and am loving it so may buy it.However I am going to wait and see if Guild Wars 2 has an open beta like Tera is right now for me to try it out to see if it is something I want to buy.

Looked at Tera too, but the monthly subscription instantly made it a no-go for me.

4% here.....this could be interesting, no matter what, its is NO monthly subscription so no agony over not playing when youre subbed to a game, which is a feeling I get when playing an MMO and havent played for 2 weeks knowing it will cost money so I say YES to GW2 no matter what. To bad I just started to get into race-sims....ah well.

I have a friend who is threatening to buy me a copy so he has someone to coop with. I didnt much care for the first one but the no monthly fee might make it worth the price tag. (free for me lol)

Exactly my sentiments, PrivateNoob. No sub = no pressure to play = more time to enjoy sims and other game alongside GW2.

Servers seem loaded at the minute so will let things calm down a bit

I hate to sound like a fanboi(cos I just hate fanbois in general) but according to everything I have read about
GW2 is that while GW1 was more of a co-op game(yes I have played GW1 on 3 trials and agree on that) Gw2 is
a full-on-seamless-MMO-world which would just blow anyone out of the water,(oh there is underwater combat too
if Im not mistaken)so Im kind of exited about this game.

Im just hoping its good and if it isnt, well I paid for Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising...
