I haven't tried zoom with lean yet, still getting used to using the thing period, don't wanna mix anything up yet. I'll probably get used to the lean function and wind up missing it if I set it to zoom, but we'll see. I have the mouse controller on my X52 set to zoom and it works very well anyway. And yup, living up to hype for sure! It's taking some getting used to, I moved my head around more than I realized in my pre TrackIr days and I'm having to learn to keep my head more steady but it's coming along nicely.

Make sure you set it to the dcs profile- smooths out movement in certain applications. I think I even downloaded a profile that really felt natural! Keep your ear to the ground. Sorry I can't be more help I'm at work and not at the comp

Interesting little glitch I'm having after installing that viewing distance mod... Anyone ever have issues with the "WARNING TEXTURE MISSING" on a variety of aircraft (E-3 for example) and all backsplash pages?

All I did was take the rar file and extract the variety of files where they needed to go. I backed up the originals of course- when I had it installed I lost icons, many title screens... some aircraft textures... When I reverted to my originals- all was okay again.

Anyone? And yes- I did use the 1.1.1.1 version of the mod that I found.

I've wanted to just feather the settings a bit to improve on the overall experience and I think these modifications do a nice job of that puts you just a bit further into the sim environment and enhances the suspension of disbelief.

Other things I'd like to try is the sound mod from zzzz and also that sun mod.

Anyone else got any must haves?

Hey - late reply, I know... I downloaded the one from the ED forums, I tweaked the pitch up/down curve to make it a bit more like Crew's but that was all it needed. Like it a LOT!

Sounds like the one I loaded. Kept it simple. I am still thinking about that paddle zoom mod- as well as some other simple modifiers.
