Hey everyone,

I got a special performance trouble and maybe someone has a idea or solution to it.

My problem:
The performance on CoD is quite ok on my PC(Quad Core, 8Gb Ram, GTX-560Ti)

But when shooting on an enemy plane and hitting his engine, black smoke and fire appears from his engine.
When these two elements are shown, the perfomace drops to something like 5-10fps.

Without black smoke and fire the performacne is really fine.

Does anyone also had problems like these and knows where to change something?

I would appreciate any kind of help. Thx in advance.

Hi, yes everyone has the particle(smoke,dust) FPS problem.
The long awaited patch should have fixed this. We wait. Maybe this week.

Though dont hold your breath.

Hey there Thomas A, try turning down the effects setting to medium and that shoud reduce this. Don't turn it down to low if you're using full CEM though because you won't be able to see your exhaust flame!

I haven't experienced this problem so far, but I think its because I haven't been able to shoot down any aircraft yet
