Oddly enough..it was white. It went over my house at probably a few hundred feet enroute to somewhere. Half expected to see "UN" written on it!

Well barring a false ID I'm pretty sure I saw a white-liveried Hind in Berlin, Germany last autumn - how's that for cool? An ex-NVA chopper on its way to UN service maybe?

They have several down at Eglin AFB in Florida and they use them constantly for training groups on operation and usage of the foreign choppers. Buddy of mine is a former AC-130 pilot and is now learning how to operate rotor wing aircraft as part of a Joint Spec Ops program that has him shooting, performing CQB drills, offensive and defensive driving and learning foreign languages.
