I'm thinking we need to start looking for Groupon deals for hang-gliding or parasailing.

We can always bribe them with some grass.

Especially if they are mounted police....

I always thought North Carolinians would call grilling burgers and hot dogs a "cookout", and not a proper BBQ?

Should that not include hushpuppies, beans, collards, pulled pork (in vinagry sauce...not sweet), brisket and ribs? readytoeat

I'm not complaining, but as a non native, I'm still learning the ways of the locals, and I've been sternly reprimanded by coworkers when calling grilling a BBQ. scuseme

That said.... I can bring some great cheesy bean dip and I can make a big batch of carnitas.

Bib's right, you know. In Ghost's defense though, out in California they call anything that involves cooking meat on a grille a "barbecue." I remember being sorely disappointed the first time I was invited to one in San Diego. I'll see what I can figure out in terms of bringing food, but money might be an issue for me in terms of bringing lots of pig or cow product.

But I can cook the everliving crap out of some collard greens. biggrin
