CJBuff Junior Member Registered: 11/03/11 Posts: 66 Loc: Georgia, USA	I was fortunate to attend the 2012 WWII Heritage Days event last weekend, which was hosted by the CAF Dixie Wing in Peachtree City, GA. This annual event honors those who served during WWII. There were almost two dozen US WWII vets in attendance including former B-17 and B-24 crew members. The B-24 vet survived being shot down by flack in 1944 and then being captured and held in a POW camp until the end of the war. A large number of re-enactors participate, representing the US, UK, German and Japanese armed forces.
