Arthur's settings should do the trick. If you need to dig deeper, lowering the following setting in the .plr has the same effect

Cockpit Vibration Mult1="1.00000" // Primary vibration multiplier affects eyepoint position (base magnitude is in VEH or cockpit file)

My settings are headmovement and Exagerate yaw at 0, and Cockpit Vibration Mult1="0.40000"

Mine are 50%/50%/1.00000....I think it's really personal preference. I like all the jostling around, gives me a good excuse when I hit the wall.

Looking for install help. I have a new HD which means a new install and I cannot seem to get the Indy cars install correctly. I am getting the mam car error so I know the tracks are OK. The game runs otherwise and I have redownload both the game a mod from the link here. Suggestions?

BTW: Are we running Rfactor v2.55?

Thanks for the tips guys. My head and yaw are zero by default. Looks like I'm playing around with the other file.

I also had some minor issues where the MOD didn't take. Make sure the folder with the indy car files goes into your main directory. rFactor\IndyCarSeries2009_v1.4

When I unzipped the download, it actually looked like this rFactor\IndyCarSeries2009_v1.4\IndyCarSeries2099_v1.4\ all files etc. Which is incorrect. Double check your folders.

Open with Notepad

Scroll down to "Graphics Options" section

For bounce...

Cockpit Vibration Mult1="0.00000" // Primary vibration multiplier affects eyepoint position (base magnitude is in VEH or cockpit file)
Cockpit Vibration Freq1="0.00000" // Primary rate of vibration affects eyepoint position (higher framerates allow higher rates)
Cockpit Vibration Mult2="0.00000" // Secondary vibration multiplier affects eyepoint orientation (base magnitude is in VEH or cockpit file)
Cockpit Vibration Freq2="0.00000" // Secondary rate of vibration affects eyepoint orientation

Then experiment with the controller yaw / look ahead settings
If still a problem, post back in here

Not that my car will be missed puttering around at the back of the field, but I think I will not be able to make this as I'm going on vacation the 21st and think I'll be driving on the 20th. You may ask, "How do you not know when you are driving out?" Because I have not put much thought into it and I know that I took off the 21st through the 26th and I think the 20th will be a drive day. I have to talk to friends that will be doing the driving.
