Keep an eye out for bargains via Amazon.com digital downloads. I picked up ArmA II there a few months back for $12.95.

Nice to see that Direct2Drive has a "GIFT" order process as well. So I bought two copies and sent my Dad one.. We'll get to that game after Ghost Recon.. wink

I thought FSW had already been released completely free a couple of years back.

Not that the sale price will break the bank, of course.

Ah, That's what I remember.

Don't recall seeing any advertising in-game, but it must have been there somewhere!

Thanks - already bought two of the D2D versions though. Although my Dad was already scratching his head last night just trying to get used to Ghost Recon..lol..so I don't know about him taking control of a squad. wink I guess him and his squad can always find the minefields for me and my squad.. biggrin

FSW is a great game. I always looked forward to firing it up in the xbox and getting back to my men and the mission.

I decided to revisit Grid after you mentioned that Beach. Still a great looking game, runs smoothly. Got my wheel settings in order for the first time I think, it's fun to play around with again.
Also, there is a game save out there for those that don't want to endure the career mode all the way through, like I didn't. Short list of cars and tracks, but some good ones in there. Good FFB, even if not up to snuff with Dirt 2/3 and F1. Seems that there's always some level of stability assistance, but the muscle cars, high end GT cars and Le Mans prototypes are pretty cool.

Probably the only game I've seen that lets you run Le Mans with an option to do it in real time over 24 hrs. LOL
