They usually enter with a fairly aggressive mindset, maybe that change of mind takes longer for each amusing info released from the fun-house.

So did Shakespeare, so You're in good company! I especially liked 'palsied' smile2

Hehehe, I was actually going for a more Chaucerian middle english 'vibe', though any resemblance to the actual language of Chaucer from childhood school memories is entirely accidental. I also appear to have time travelled to the future in parts, too. hahaha 'Nathelees' (nonetheless), I have amended 'mine' to read 'myne', for historical Chaucerian 'fulle reaylle' accuracy (err, allegedly) smile . 'Time' should also read 'tyme'. biggrin

Its much easier to understand it being a Geordie actually, as we still say a lot of ye olde words like 'gan' meaning 'go' and 'wrang' for 'wrong' and 'larn' meaning 'to teach' etc...'Hyem'- for 'home', many others (mostly Old English-Anglo-Saxon and Norse words) lol. smile

Hmm, that's kind of interesting. I had an uncle-in-law who had a bit of a different dialect even by the country standards in the hills of N. GA (that's deep south, USA for you Europeans!). He pronounced words like "hour" which sounded like "air", or "car" as "cair" like "cairn" with no n. I swear his Home was your Hyem, and every true Southerner knows "we gannin lyarn dem Yankees!"

Always knew Southern American English is closer to different dialects of real English, no matter how hard the whiny girlie boys of the N.E. states tried to make fun of our dialect, they are actually just jealous we remember our roots.

I like the analogy of a flock of Chickens, who on the first sight of blood rush in and tear the offending bleeder apart. They're a mean bunch, Chickens.

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011

The finer points of beta testing have been analysed to death. What happened here on planet real was that it was all good shortly followed by being so buggered it has to be re-done. This is a recurring theme throughout the development of the game.

When they said they were looking forward to destroying the competition who here thought they meant with laughter ?

I remember the run in to Pacific Fighters, Brilliant, its IL2 like you've never seen it before, it will do this, it will do that, its almost ready....Ahhh, yes, well... The (old) team has been drafted in to 'help'. That was aka dig the damn thing out of the poo as much as they could in as short a space of time as possible. Firstly, the development that was sidelined to allow that emergency intervention was Storm of War and secondly who's baby was Pacific Fighters ?

Chances of making a silk purse out of a sows ear. Remote.
