Verily twas the Grafiks Engine problems that betwixt the patch, not CTD's besooth. Blacksix did not expound his tale of faild flight , but offered up his anguish and sorrow at patches plight. Tis a shame, but so long as it be fixd afore two weeks are passed, our rapture will forever last. Gadzooks! I'm starting to enjoy this waiting game. I suspect I will enjoy installing the patch more than actually properly playing the patched game. Sifting through the readme for something I recognise, that sweet slow tormenting download, the installation and first startup, those minutes of exploration after the patch is out is like a drug to me. I think I will never want a finished software product for the rest of my life. I've become a patch-o-holic ...

I feel like I'm looking at this beautifully decorated cake, where every one oooohs and aaaaahs at it's details - expecting to taste a yummy confection. When it comes time to eat it, the cake is a turd with icing on it.
Quoteth juste because it is verily most awesome. It mayhaps becometh myne singatory.

They should never have asked for money for what was an half finished alpha build of a game.

Unfortunately it does give some in the banana forums fodder to suggest there is malicious skulduggery going on. Unfortunately, the fact they released it for money in the state it was in was malicious skulduggery IMO. Borderline fraud... I agree it would have been malicious skulduggery if they sold COD and shut down the operation. I'm sure they figured they could release what was done, and garnered enough financial support to keep the investors happy long enough that they could finish the sim. I doubt they thought it was going to take this long, but shyte happened. I also agree that the most ethical decision would be to let people know the state of the sim, but the lost sales could easily have sealed the sims fate. It was a Catch 22 situation, but the choice they made had the more likely successful conclusion, for the investors, the developers, and the community. MeThinks.

I tried BOBII and OFF. Purchased them both. Played them for about 5 hours each. Decent, but offline only. RoF, on the other hand, has kept my interest for a few years. There you go! Another great game. Or even fire up BMS Falcon. So many options without waiting for this crap.
