I had posted my Query on a Home Theater Forum but am getting NO responces so I thought I would ask you all here..

I currently got Blu Ray 3D working on my PC and was wondering if it would be possible to get Comcast 3D Cable channels on my PC with a TV Tuner.. This one is digital and does the HD channels but will the 3D Channels work with it:

Now I ask as this is a pretty costly item and do not want to get stuck with a 200Dollar Paperweight.. I have searched Comcast website but that was futile and some pretty useless info there..

Well I posted at AVS as well I did get some responces but not an Answer to my question..

I did end up just buying the cento TV Tuner will report back if it worked or not.. hope it does dont wanna be out a few bucks..

OK I have a issue.. I have it all setup and am unable to see any channels.. I am in contact withe Ceton and they said I need to do this to get it working but when I click OK My PC Locks up and I have to do a Hard Reset and boot into Safe mode to undo that change or I am unable to Boot into Windows..

Here is the fix I need to do as described by Ceton Support but it is NOT working:

The diagnostic capture is reporting that the bridging support for the infiniTV has been reset. To fix this, please click start, type Device Manager, open Device Manager, expand the Network adapters section, right click the Ceton InfiniTV adapter, select Properties, move to the Advanced tab, select Support Bridging in the left side window, select Yes in the right hand drop down window and click OK. This should get you back up and operational.



That is what I need to do to get my problem fixed but Windows is NOT cooperating?? any ideas why it makes Windows Lock up and not able to boot?? I need a Fix for a Fix CRAP Figures just my luck..

i think there is some conflict going on with atheros NIC drivers and old HW revisions, post in thee infinitv4 thread on AVSForums (linked above).

A LOT of people on AVS had to RMA their Card and get a newer special revision to work with ASRock and Atheros NICs

I checked and the onboard lan was disabled?? I use a Vision Tek Killer 2001 NIC?? I did post there waiting for a responce..

Well looks like either the card is broke or something. Centon just emailed me back and want me to RMA the card..

yeah, they have a new Hardware revision that fixes conflicts with certain NICs and PCIe Slots

Yes I was reading about that but wierd thing is it was working and then poof it didnt??

Well I had recieved the new Ceton TV Tuner and had gottent it working again.. I then tried the 3D Channels no luck.. IT appears they use and Over/Under Format which nVidia does NOT use.. they use Pageflip./.

So basically I said fine but then the next day I went to turn on the PC and the TV Tuner was NOT working again.. I tried and tried to get it back working but it kept saying it was not available..

Well after that I decided to just send it back and get a Refund.. This Ceton InfiniTV is NOT ready for Prime Time too many problems..

its been out for a while now.

problem is they didnt test it outside their lab..

it has the same problem the Intensity Pro USB3.0 had, it doesnt get along with ALOT of chipsets.
