So Ken, before we descend too far down this spiraling path of inevitability, is there anything we need to bring, or should we work on the ingredient list closer to?
Well, I was just going to say, I've got the World Famous Potato Salad covered,
I'll take care of some of this stuff. I've got a couple air mattress' (1 Queen and 1 Twin) a, couple couches to crash on if need be.
I always thought North Carolinians would call grilling burgers and hot dogs a "cookout", and not a proper BBQ?
Should that not include hushpuppies, beans, collards, pulled pork (in vinagry sauce...not sweet), brisket and ribs?
I'm not complaining, but as a non native, I'm still learning the ways of the locals, and I've been sternly reprimanded by coworkers when calling grilling a BBQ.
That said.... I can bring some great cheesy bean dip and I can make a big batch of carnitas.
