LOL..that's an old photo..probably 8 years? The machine has changed...the desk hasn't. The beer has definitely been changed a few times..

wink

My current rig was home built and has two Samsung 22" flat screens. Soon (hopefully) to be replaced..

Bumping this old thread to see if there's been any change here.

I'm >this< close to buying XPX (again...) but can't pull the trigger if this BS still stands.

As far as I'm concerned, they don't have functioning Autopliots if they're stupid drag and scroll system is the only way to manipulate the AP settings.

There has been no change in the mouse wheel scroll approach since as far as I know... sad because I think XP-10 could benefit from things like that, but sometimes it seems they want to be different from MSFS just to be different IMHO.

It's funny. I've had every version of MSFS from the first and, until recently, I never knew the mousewheel even could be used to turn knobs!

I'm curious why so many developers prefer the hunt and click fest of the quadrant method when the mouse wheel seems to work so well and replicates an actual knob so perfectly.

I was fed up with MCP button pixel hunting, so now i'm using a wireless rumblepad and two thumbsticks on it for VS/ALT and SPD/HDG manipulation, with the assistance of Autohotkey script.
