I did a Bench mark and from what I can tell it appears my numbers are Lower then expected.. Especially the 4K writes..they are 12.85MB??
Any SSD Benchmark interperters out there that understand these numbers??
I have the Corsair Force 3 Series SSD 180GB.. I kniw the GT was a little faster but I got this I Should have gotten the GT..
But I thought the 4K write should be 315MB, or 80,000 IOPS?? need help to see IF my SSD is performing at an Optimal Speed??
I'm no SSD guru but am on similar CPU and MB and your bench looks low compared to my Intel 320SSD which is a SATA2 drive:
Especially for a SATA3 drive I would have expected better numbers from your drive on similar MB/CPU.
You might want to check that you have the BIOS set to AHCI mode and that you have the SSD SATA cable plugged into the SATA3 ports on the MB, they should be the two grey ones according to my MB manual (not sure if it is different on the non-PRO version):

I would doublecheck as it might save you spending money on a faster SSD with this MB/CPU combo, my SATA2 drive has been pretty fast and made it so I am not worried about moving to SATA3 other than to get a bigger SSD.
