Many thanks Mr.Jelly

I got the controls to work with some ini reference I found somewhere. I need to tweak it more as my snap views on my joystick is giving me some hassle. Sure I will get it sorted eventually.

Just a quick confirmation. everytime I clicked on exit mission the game crashed and my pc actually rebooted once. I did manage to find a fix/hotfix eaw.exe file for 1.28 from another post here but not from you hosting site. That solved it so far.

On the different theatres am I correct in thinking that the EOT is the only one with full pilot career mode.

Also where can I find the hi res textures for planes and landscape?

Thanks again,
G

As far as i know you can fly career missions in all scenarios, not just in ETO!

Many thanks for the prompt responses. I loaded the DAK theatre and when I clicked on the Pilot Career the coutry flags it still showed Battle of Britain for example. I didn't continue clicking next as I thought that it is only single missions based in the said theatre.

Here is my installation just for reference:

EAW dir copied from CD
Extracted the following files into this directory:
Files
Planes
ETO
Folders
Downloaded all available theatres from same dropbox location
Applied this https://rapidshare.com/files/1365208221/EAW1.28eFix16.zip

Thanks,
G

P.S Any Eastern Front theatres.

P.S.S Sorry for all the questions.

Hi,

the only somewhat working pure east front setup at the moment are the two east front plane sets comming with ETO_01.

To use them, go to the configuration screen and select "Planeset3" (early) or "Planeset4" (late east front).

Since we dont have a real east front worldsetup a late war frontline setup(east front close to Berlin) get used.

If you want to have some more east front fun, give the very good Finnish Airwar a go. The FAW world is outstanding, with help of the FAW manager you can play many historical correct misssion.

Greetings,

Knegel

Hi AngelOff smile

Do I just dump these files into the EAW128e/sounds folder?

Sorry new to this sort of thing biggrin

Also I noticed a heap of cockpit makings stuff, are there any cockpits to replace the originals in a higher rez?

Thanks in advance cheers!
