For whatever questions and tips folks have

A few questions:

Any way to speed up view panning? It is really slow, uselessly so. Tried upping and lowering sensitivity but that had no effect.

Is external chase view disabled in hardcore servers?

Thanks. In BF2 ther was a reverse chase view option. I don't se that available in the key mapping options in BF3, so I am assuming it doesn't exist?

If you know when to dump flares, sidewinders are next to useless.

What bonehead decided that jets can oly carry rockets or missiles, but not both? What about all those empty hard points on the wings? They are stripping the jets of their multirole capability.

i tend to just do "infantry only" most of the time. solves the problem with people BSing around waiting for the Tanks and stuff to spawn.

so many maps i've been on where everyone wants to hide and be snipers, while the 2 squads try and take objectives get pounded from the air, and at the same time my teams air support vehicles are still on the ground being ignored.

I've been asking others on my team to spot targets so I can attack them in my jet. So far nobody has done so. Hence the need to find servers where mature, more organized players play.
