Hey everyone, I just picked up DCS A-10 and I'm trying to patch her up! When I try to apply 1.1.0.6 it tells me that I need to have installed 1.1.0.5??? I read earlier that some had to uninstall the beta version however I just installed a retail copy? Does anyone know what's going on? It's a hella of a good time playing like it is, but I'd rather have the lastest.

Thanks in advance!
Mark

your best option is to delete your retail installation and download and install the latest full release version 1.1.1.1 of DCS A-10C from the Eagle Dynamics website.

that is, provided you don't have a problem downloading 4.6GB of files.

the serial number you received with the boxed dvd version will work with the download, and if you have already activated the dvd version you shouldn't have to deactivate and then activate the new installation. just install the 1.1.1.1 download and it should work.

+1 on that. Did the same with my steam install. Junked the download and went straight to the DCS files.

Thanks for the tip kramer. I've already downloaded that much in patches! Can't wait to roll my sleeves up and get busy with her.

If you bought the box version in the US, it is version 1.0.0.9. That is why you were getting the strange error from v.6 patch.
