Checked, and it works for me.
Start unrar with SAMSIM_v924_Beta-2.part1.rar.
SAMSIM_v924_Beta-2.part2.rar is just the second part of that file, winrar will automatically unpack it, if you place both files to the same directory.

I'd say we need an appropriate "doomsday"-style scenario, with B-52's loaded with Hound Dog cruise missiles heading for Moscow...

what do you do to launch it? I use normal parameters for firing and it doesn't launch.

Which switch must be flipped/clicked before the nuclear missile can be launched against a target?

Practice target Ground Target killed by SAM. (miss distance: 0m)

This was fired with T/T with out the ground proxy charge on... How did this actually work?

Also, forgive my ignorance, but were in the forum was the way to launch nuclear missile discussed? I have used the forum search and couldn't find it.

On the Q screen, change the fusing to the setting to the right of USU-gated mode.

On the Z screen, change the guidance algorithm to one of the two to the right of K mode.

When the little command-detonation red lights go on and cannot be switched off, you have the right settings.

Yes, MiG-25 heats up on 20 km altitude, but what's the difference? They had a materials which withstand the high temperatures. I think this plastic nose is only for missiles, which are for training purposes (i.e. not real ones..)

They can be switched off on me (with work on K3 switch) plus when missile detonates I don't see any detonation at all... How should nuclear blast looks like?

The air at 20km, where the MiG-25 makes Mach 3 is substantially thinner than at sea level where the MiG makes about 1200km/h.

So the trick is to shoot from 85-90km (the plane turns before it reaches 80).
